Doing what you love

Today was June card club.  Of course, I loved every minute of it!  Annette did a wonderful job coming up with some super cute ideas for Father's Day.  Those creations will be posted soon...but I did want to post my swaps (birthday theme) and recent birthday cards I've been working on.

This is the base I had to work with for my birthday swaps.  My mother sent me a pack and I decided it would be perfect to use.  Here's the before:
