Hello from England!

Welcome to my blog!
We are a christian family living in the Sunshine state (before that we spent four years in England and two years in Turkey).

My posts are of everyday life and my love of crafting. I hope to inspire you in some way to share your talents too.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to leave a comment.
Cheers and God's blessings to you and yours!

We are in the full swing of 2017!  I was thrilled last month when my parents flew in to visit for about 5 days.  We had a great time seeing the Naval Air Museum and Lighthouse.  Of course, we ate delicious seafood and met up with other family in Destin too.
The Christmas decorations are all down and the house is almost all "undecorated."  I still have my snowman collection out since it is technically "winter."  We did have a couple of chilly nights recently where it was below freezing.  Then the temps went back up to mid 70's.  We are blessed!
Below is the Paper Pumpkin kit I used to make my Thank you cards.  It was fun layering and using the sparkles:

Of course my son and I walked up the spiral staircase to the top.  Here's our view:

My nephew's birthday was Dec 31st and he loves Pokemon, so here is the card I made him:

I'll be posting my sister's birthday card and some other cards I made recently, so see you soon!

More inspiration...er...indecisiveness

As my previous posting mentioned, I had a difficult time being content with just one card design this past Christmas season.  Here are more cards I made and shared...please leave a comment (you need a gmail account) and let me know which one you like!

Here is the first design I tried (outside and inside):

Here is another one:

and here is my final (and favorite) design:

Can you tell I went going for a beach theme??  I didn't have a palm tree stamp, so I made a beach theme (sponging the sand, water and sky) and went for an ornament concept.
New Years blessings to you all filled with God, grace, peace and prosperity.
