Wahoo!

My brother-in-law celebrated his birthday and he received the below card. He likes to play poker - and the background paper is playing cards.  It was my first time using the "wahoo" stamp from a Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I think I will use it again - it is a fun statement!

And my husband celebrated his birthday.  I thought the below card was appropriate...after all, he IS older than me!

Finally, here's a gorgeous Florida sunset by Destin.  I hope to capture many more this summer!  Hope you had a wonderful Memorial weekend remembering those who have served in our military and sacrificed their life for a greater cause.  God Bless America!  Wahoo!

It's the Little Things...

School is winding down....the kids are wearing out.
And I can't wait for school to be out so I don't have to get up at 5:30am!!

Woot Woot!  It really IS the little things that make me happy!

A birthday shout out to my amazing husband!!  He's always saying sweet things to me and I truly appreciate him and his grace.  (I am running late to work but will post his card soon).

Here are some creations I have so far in this busy season!

Here is a gift Olivia delivered to her bus driver!!  (It reads:  "I drive a school bus, what's your superpower?")

I filled the cup on top with....CHOCOLATE!

Olivia went to a birthday party recently,
here's the gift card / card holder she took that I made:

Finally, here's a funny card I gave to Annette that cracked me up, I have 5 more stamps to use from this set...if you would like one, let me know!

So blessed...

It's one of my favorite times of year - the flowers are in bloom, the rain showers make the frogs sing, and the beach water is slowly warming up!

It also means my busiest time of year for cards.  I was telling Annette today that I have 11 cards to make in the next (less than) month! Yikes!  (This WILL be a productive weekend, this WILL be a productive weekend, this WILL be a productive weekend)

Here's a sweet card from Annette I forgot to share... followed by a birthday card for my friend, Shelly, in Arkansas.  We had great tea time memories in England at Harriet's Tea room in Bury St. Edmunds as well as Emily's Tea Room in Mildenhall.  Now to find that perfect scone recipe...

God is so good!

Mother's Day

Yesterday was a wonderful day!  Happy Mother's Day to all those moms out there - past, present and future.  Happy Mother's Day to all those moms who have gone before us, who never got to hold their babies, and who have suffered tragedies beyond our comprehension.

Here are the cards I made for my mom as well as my mother-in-law.  Unfortunately, my mom's card is lost in the mail.  I sent it off last Monday, but as of last night (Sunday) she hasn't received it. Hopefully it will turn up soon!

This is a "pop up" card.  It's 2 layer, and a butterfly pops up when the sides are pulled in opposite directions.  Annette came over last Friday and this was my project.  It was fun and easy!  (LOVE easy!) Crafting was fun as always and went by too fast.

Lots of May and June celebrations, so back to crafting I go!  Have a blessed week.
