Almost July?? What!?

Time flies when I am having fun...it's summer and time always goes faster to me when we have adventures/vacations, celebrations of anniversaries and birthdays, as well as when the weather is enjoyable.

We were blessed to have a busy June where we saw all kinds of family!  Even better than that, we had company!!  Living overseas the previous 6 years made it difficult for company to visit us.  I completely understand, but had a great time entertaining family recently.  We had some great adventures and some much needed time together.  Cookouts, dolphin cruises, the Gulfarium, and going to the beach.  Thank goodness for sunscreen!
:)

Here is the card I made my parents for their anniversary this month:

It's hard to believe that July is right around the corner.  I already made four 4th of July cards.  I'm looking forward to sharing them with you!  If you are connected to Pinterest, be sure to check out my festive board  for some great tips.  There are several ideas on decorating, baking, and card making.

We are still narrowing down how we will celebrate.  I'd love to hear how you be celebrating.  Leave a comment!

Time with friends and family

A good friend recently made me a card and it just warmed my heart!
I wanted to share it with you:

Simple, yet so nice!  Thank you Annette!
:)

Here is the birthday card my mother-in-law received.  I hope she liked it!  I was inspired by a similar style/layout from my friend Danielle:

We recently attended a wedding down by Naples, FL on Marco Island. What a wonderful place to vacation!  Of course, the sunsets were amazing too and I had to share a sunset with my readers.

We have been blessed with lots of visitors lately.  Sharing in mini vacations and birthday/anniversary celebrations.  I will try to post more next week of cards I made for those celebrations.

Manly cards...

My brother-in-law recently celebrated his birthday.  Here is the card he received.  It was the first time I used my mustache frame-lits.  It was nice to be able to pop this out quickly!  I love how it turned out and added the fun "Bro" stamp from a Paper Pumpkin kit to it (one from last year).

Here is the card I made my husband for his birthday recently too.  He loves to play golf and never gets enough time to do it.  I made some extras while I was at it.  I had to also try out my new fringe scissors...

Have a blessed day, thanks for stopping by!
